Bloc Party – “Flirting Again” (Music on TunesDeck)

Bloc Party has returned with a new single titled “Flirting Again” following their EP “High Life” from last year. The track comes after their album “Alpha Games” in 2022, which marked the band’s first release since “Hymns” in 2016.

The lead singer, Kele Okereke shared insight into the inspiration behind the song, stating that it delves into the complexities of reentering the dating scene. Okereke explained, “‘Flirting Again’ reflects the struggle of projecting confidence while concealing emotional wounds. We all carry past experiences that shape our approach to love, and this song is about resilience and moving forward despite the scars.”
