Philadelphia-based group Poison Ruïn, known for their dark punk style and medieval themes, have confirmed the upcoming release of their new EP titled Confrere. Following their acclaimed sophomore album Härvest, Poison Ruïn caught the attention of Stereogum as a Band To Watch. Alongside this announcement, members of Poison Ruïn have formed a new band, Shadow Knell, set to release their debut album simultaneously.
The EP Confrere consists of seven tracks that showcase the band’s signature sound. The title track “Confrere” delivers powerful riffs, raw vocals, and a somber atmosphere, reminiscent of Motörhead’s melancholic side. The tracklist for the EP is as follows:

01 “Intro”
02 “Confrere”
03 “Attrition”
04 “Interlude”
