The well-known American singer and songwriter, Justin Timberlake, has been charged with driving while intoxicated. He was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, where the police spokesperson mentioned that Timberlake was also accused of running a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane, as stated by his attorney Ed Burke. Timberlake was released without having to post bail and is set to appear in court on July 26.
Sources informed TMZ that the former NSYNC band member was stopped shortly after he began driving his car after a night out with friends at a nearby hotel. Timberlake is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, with his last performance in Miami and upcoming concerts scheduled in Chicago at the United Center and in New York City at Madison Square Garden.
