Nigerian singer Odunsi the Engine has excited fans with news of a forthcoming album. Following his 2018 release, “Rare,” the artist took to his X page to reveal that the new album is set to drop on June 21, 2024. Despite the gap between full-length projects, Odunsi has remained active in the music world, recently gifting fans with the Denim EP in 2022 and contributing to Lady Donli’s “Pan African Rockstar” album with the track “Jazz Up.”

This year saw a slow start in the Nigerian music scene, but it’s gaining momentum with artists like Tems, Ayra Starr, Falz, Kaestyle, and others dominating music charts with their fresh releases. Odunsi is set to share the spotlight with Victony, who is also dropping his debut album, “Stubborn,” on the same day. The title and tracklist for Odunsi’s upcoming album are yet to be unveiled.
