Fucked Up, the Toronto experimental rock band, challenged themselves by writing and recording their album One Day within 24 hours last year. This unleashed a new energy in the band. Since then, they have been busy releasing music, including the Cops EP and collaborations with the Halluci Nation. Now, just a year and a half later, they are set to release a new LP.
The upcoming album, Another Day, features guest vocalists like Danko Jones, PONY’s Sam Bielanski, Pretty Matty, and Charlie Manning Walker. The lead single “Stimming” is a grand guitar-rock track that exudes an epic feel in just three minutes.
The band describes “Stimming” as a video that captures the essence of music transcending from within to outward physical action. Stimming, a form of self-soothing through repetition, allows them to express their best selves through precise physical movements, creating a place of joy to birth new ideas.
