Charli XCX made a splash in the album scene with her latest release, Brat, which is a mix of glitchy, adventurous, fun, and emotionally charged tracks. Now, she has unveiled a deluxe edition of the album titled Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not featuring three new tracks.
The new songs on the deluxe edition are worth a listen. “Hello goodbye” showcases Charli’s vulnerable side as she navigates the emotions of a crush with A. G. Cook. “Spring breakers,” produced by Cook, EasyFun, and Jon Shave, is a catchy anthem about living like a character in a Harmony Korine film.
One of the bonus tracks, “Guess,” stands out for its bold and suggestive lyrics centered around underwear. This track was co-written by Charli XCX with 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady and Harrison Patrick Smith aka the Dare.
