Korra Obidi “I’ve been getting booked back to back since I became single”

Korra Obidi, a well-known socialite and divorcee, shares her insights on the advantages of being single within the entertainment field. During a recent appearance on the “Heroes Diary” show, the mother of two reflected on the success she has experienced following her divorce.

She highlighted how marriage can sometimes restrict opportunities in the industry, noting that initial enthusiasm and support often wane over time for married individuals with children. Such individuals may find themselves excluded from events and overlooked for roles. However, once they become single or go through a divorce, the tide turns, and support floods back in.

Korra Obidi concluded that being single presents numerous advantages when navigating the entertainment industry.

“When someone is married, there’s a shift in how people perceive them. They might say ‘happy married life’ but then exclude them from opportunities like appearing on shows or in movies. However, now that I’m single, I have been consistently booked for various engagements, which works well for me. I believe that being single is beneficial in this industry.”
