Sis recently revealed details about her upcoming album Vibhuti. Leading up to its release, Sis has already shared tracks like “Center Of The Heart,” “Mother’s Grace,” and “Bow To Your Wilderness.” Today, Jenny Gillespie Mason presents the evocative single “Pregnant In Bhutan.”
Discussing the song’s inspiration, Mason shared, “This was the first song I wrote for the album while sitting at the piano. At that moment, I was uncertain about the direction the music and concepts for the album would take. I had just revisited an old journal entry about the time I discovered I was pregnant with my first child while journeying through Southeast Asia. I aimed to capture the delicate emotional landscape of desire and joy, contrasted with anxiety and apprehension about losing my creative life. All of this was unfolding in a mystical yet unfamiliar place, not quite living up to the ideal I had envisioned.”
