“Bear Hands Collaborates with Have A Nice Life on the Riveting Track ‘Car Wreck'”

Bear Hands – “Car Wreck” (Feat. Have A Nice Life)

This upcoming Friday, the electro-post-punk group Bear Hands will launch their latest album, The Key To What, marking their first release in five years. The album comes after lead singer Dylan Rau’s relocation from Brooklyn to a tranquil town along the Oregon coast, where he initially sought to take a break from music and explore new pursuits. However, he discovered that his passion for creating music remained strong. For their return, the band has enlisted the collaboration of their longtime friend Dan Barrett from Have A Nice Life, who features on the new track “Car Wreck.”

The song “Car Wreck” delves into the dark theme of contemplating death in a severe car accident. The lyrics include lines like, “Think I might die in a bad car wreck/ Don’t act like you’d be sad,” as sung by Rau and Barrett, with an upbeat, danceable synth melody accompanying them. You can watch the intense music video for “Car Wreck,” directed by Alexander Maxwell, below.

The Key To What will be released on October 18 through Rostrum/Cantora.
