Candy’s Latest EP Takes the Music Scene by Storm

Candy’s New EP Flipping Rips So Hard

The hardcore band Candy from Richmond pushes the limits of their genre, incorporating industrial and electronic elements while maintaining their intense sound. Their live performances are an exhilarating experience, and this is evident in their recordings as well, especially in their newest EP, Flipping, released today.

This year, they also delivered the experimental album It’s Inside You. While that’s a solid record, Flipping—their latest six-track EP—may surpass it with its raw energy and aggression. The band previously teased the release with the track “Football,” but the complete EP is essential listening for extreme music fans.

The EP revisits the heavy style of their earlier works, emphasized by its striking cover art and its debut on Triple B Records, the label that previously represented them. Each track is fierce and edgy, complemented by an array of sounds, including DJ scratches and eerie rap samples. Far from being a forced blend of styles, this music showcases Candy’s ability to utilize diverse elements to create something bold and unapologetically intense. Be sure to check it out below.

The EP Flipping is now available via Triple B Records.
