Greet Death – “Same But Different Now”

Greet Death Releases New Single

Hailing from Flint, Michigan, Greet Death has carved a niche in the world of indie rock with their distinctive dark sound, reminiscent of the American band Arab Strap. Following the successful release of their EP New Low in 2022, they also featured on Infant Island’s track “Kindling.” Recently, they unveiled a brand new single.

The latest track, titled “Same But Different Now But Still Brat” (though this isn’t the actual name), is an energetic rock song that unfolds over a duration of five and a half minutes. The lyrics capture a nostalgic moment of being high at a friend’s house during childhood, ultimately highlighting the disconnect felt as adults when reflecting on these past relationships. The imagery presented involves distorted facial features, enhancing the song’s emotional depth. Take a listen below.

The single “Same But Different Now” is now available through Deathwish, Inc.
