In June, Vundabar debuted their energetic track “I Got Cracked.” They continue their vibrant streak with a new single titled “Life Is A Movie,” now available to listen to.
This latest release features post-punk influences, with lead vocalist Brandon Hagen delivering introspective lyrics in a unique shout style: “No director yells cut/ My life is like a movie/ Except that it’s not/ There is no story/ Just an endless roiling ocean.” The accompanying music video, directed by Goood.Dylan, is visually striking, showcasing plenty of blue paint and cigarette imagery.
