Lily Seabird Unleashes Raw Emotion with “Fuckhead” on TunesDeck

Lily Seabird – “Fuckhead”

Indie-folk artist Lily Seabird from Vermont gained attention with her album Alas, released earlier this year. Notably, this album features a comma as part of its title. The album has received acclaim and will be reissued on vinyl for the first time by Philly’s Lame-O Records in November. Additionally, a new EP will be released that includes acoustic renditions of tracks from Alas.

Along with this announcement, listeners can enjoy an acoustic version of an unreleased song titled “Fuckhead.” Seabird shared her thoughts on the track:

I penned this song when I was 16, and it felt wonderful to perform it during the recording of the acoustic versions of Alas. It’s dedicated to my friend Emmi, with whom I played in my first band during high school. We thought we were quite cool, calling each other fuckhead. I’ve kept the song and its title untouched since I wrote it.

You can listen to the new track below, alongside the full Alas album.

TRACKLIST:
01 “Over and over again (searching for you in the space) – acoustic”
02 “Pretty Flowers – acoustic”
03 “The end of the beginning – acoustic”
04 “Twenty – acoustic”
05 “Waste – acoustic”
06 “Fuckhead – acoustic”

The reissued version of Alas and the EP Alas, (acoustic versions) will both release on 11/15 through Lame-O.
