This year, Maggie Rogers unveiled her third album, Don’t Forget Me. She has recently released a new track called “In The Living Room.”
“I created ‘In The Living Room’ in March 2023, shortly after completing Don’t Forget Me,” Rogers explained. “While collaborating with my co-writer and co-producer Ian Fitchuk in the studio, we decided to write one more song. Much like the rest of the album, this piece explores the intricate mix of joy and sorrow that memories bring, especially as you navigate the departure of someone significant from your life. The overarching theme of Don’t Forget Me revolves around how we recall and reinterpret people, along with the narratives we construct while forming new perceptions of reality.”
