Recently, Sleater-Kinney revealed a deluxe version of their January release, Little Rope, and introduced a new track titled “Here Today.” Now, they’re offering another sneak peek with the song “This Time.”
The band explained, “‘This Time’ was the final song we composed for this album and also the last one we decided to exclude, as we aimed for a balance with just ten tracks. This song explores the edges of denial, fitting within the broader themes of Little Rope, which delves into themes of grief and its consequences.”
With a nostalgic buildup, the track culminates in an emotional release. Check it out below.
The deluxe version of Little Rope will be released on October 4 through Loma Vista.
