Waxahatchee Unveils New Track
This year, Waxahatchee has been busy touring in support of her album Tigers Blood, released in March. At her live performances, she often plays the album in its entirety, which has been a delight for fans. Recently, she introduced an unreleased track titled “Much Ado About Nothing,” and today, Katie Crutchfield has released its studio version.
As expected, “Much Ado About Nothing” perfectly aligns with the folk-rock sound of Tigers Blood, featuring beautiful vocal harmonies infused with deep emotions. The lyrics encapsulate a sense of turmoil: “Oh no, I’ve lost my mind, I’ve lost my mind again/ Tell you I’m razor sharp, I’m terrifying.”
The track also showcases some lovely electric guitar work, courtesy of MJ Lenderman. Additionally, Waxahatchee’s frequent collaborators, Brad and Phil Cook, contribute to the song. Check out the music video for “Much Ado About Nothing” below:
