The electronic pop duo from Berlin, Tarwater, composed of Ronald Lippok and Bernd Jestram, is set to release their latest album in November, marking their first since Adrift in 2014. This upcoming work is titled Nuts Of Ay, and it features the newly released single “Trapdoor Spider.”
Nuts Of Ay includes a variety of collaborations. Schneider TM contributes to the track “Spirit Of Flux,” alongside guitarists Vini Reilly and Maurice Deebank. Other featured artists on the album are Carsten Nicolai, Alva Noto, and Masha Qrella, with actor Lars Rudolph appearing in “USA.”
The artists described Nuts Of Ay as a project without a central theme, stating it developed organically over several years, much like a coral reef does in nature.
