Drawing inspiration from acts like Death Grips, the Mars Volta, OutKast, and Blonde Redhead, Cold Court blends various sounds into a distinctive post-punk style reminiscent of bands like Black Eyes and Squid. Today, they release their debut track titled “Twin.”
Led by brothers Mini (guitar/vocals) and Jojo (guitar/vocals), the band also features Jeff (drums), Charlie (sax/keys), and Theo (bass), with members aged between 17 and 21. The single “Twin” is released through Boiled and is part of a 12” vinyl that includes another exclusive track found only on vinyl. Production credits go to Michael Johnson. Additionally, Cold Court will perform at Geese’s Geesefest held at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg this December. Check out “Twin” below.
