Olivia O, known from Lowertown and Child Star, has unveiled her solo album No Bones, Sickly Sweet last month, debuting with the track “One Hit Wonder.” Today, she releases another captivating lo-fi indie-pop song titled “Hole.” This track is driven by a compelling melody and features the catchy line: “I’d rather roll over into a hole in the ground than let you touch me now.” According to Olivia Osby, the song conveys that painful realization when feelings fade, leaving a bitter stomach-turning sensation when reminiscing about a past love, where joyful memories feel like they soured. The album No Bones, Sickly Sweet will be released on November 1st through Amateur.
