Rhino is set to unveil the extensive Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980), including the album Hejira from 1976, the double-LP Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter from 1977, the collaboration with Charles Mingus in 1979 (Mingus), and the live album Shadows And Light from 1980. A sneak peek has been released by Rhino in the form of the previously unreleased demo of “Traveling (Hejira),” available below.
On October 19 and 20, Mitchell is planned to take the spotlight at her Joni Jam at the Hollywood Bowl, marking her first headline performances in Los Angeles in 24 years.
