Godspeed You! Black Emperor introduced new tracks during their recent tour. Following their 2021 album G_d’s Pee AT STATE’S END!, they have revealed the upcoming album NO TITLE AS OF 13 FEBRUARY 2024 28,340 DEAD in reference to the 28,340 Palestinians who lost their lives in Gaza by Feb. 13. The single “GREY RUBBLE – GREEN SHOOTS” is now available.
“GREY RUBBLE – GREEN SHOOTS” is a haunting nearly seven-minute track and serves as the closing piece on the 6-track LP. The album was engineered and mixed by Jace Lasek and mastered by Harris Newman. The Bandcamp description for the record touches on various themes.
