Fousheé Drops New Single “100 bux” on TunesDeck
Foushée, the alt-soul artist from New York, is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album Pointy Heights. Earlier, we shared her singles “Still Around” and “war.” Today, Foushée presents “100 bux,” a hazy and atmospheric track that steers her sound towards the fuzzy vibes of indie rock.
Collaborating with Steve Lacy, who has a longstanding partnership with Foushée and co-produced “Still Around,” along with SZA affiliates Sir Dylan and Solomonophonic, “100 bux” has Foushée softly singing about recovering from a rough hangover while weaving in elements of Musical Youth’s new-wave/reggae hit “Pass The Dutchie.” Experience the track below.
Pointy Heights drops on 9/13 via RCA.
