Mötley Crüe Announces New EP Featuring Beastie Boys Cover

Mötley Crüe Announce Cancelled EP With Beastie Boys Cover

Mötley Crüe has revealed the upcoming EP titled Cancelled. Produced by Bob Rock, the EP is set to be released in early October. Following their previous works such as the 2019 soundtrack for the biographical film Dirt and the 2021 40 Years cassette boxset, Cancelled includes the already released track “Dogs Of War” (without Mick Mars) and a cover of the Beastie Boys’ hit “Fight For Your Right,” a song they have performed live before.

In a joint statement, Mötley Crüe expressed their excitement about the project, saying, “It was really great getting in the studio and working on some tracks together. What started out as a couple of demo ideas turned into this EP produced by Bob Rock. We look forward to getting back into the studio again soon and writing more new music.”
