William Tyler, the accomplished acoustic guitar artist from Nashville, launched his album Secret Stratosphere last year with the backing band, the Impossible Truth. Tyler collaborated with Four Tet, a.k.a. Kieran Hebden, on the tracks “Darkness, Darkness” and “No Services.” Today, Tyler presents a new single of his own.
Unlike his usual solo guitar music, the new song “Flight Final” features Tyler blending his guitar with electronic sounds. The track is notably shorter than his usual pieces but maintains Tyler’s enchanting instrumental style.
“Flight Final” was recorded by Tyler using an iPhone and a vintage tape machine from his grandfather’s office. The experimental track with pulsating tones sparks curiosity about Tyler’s future musical direction. Get a taste of “Flight Final” and catch Tyler on his upcoming European tour.
