Foxing’s Latest Single “Hell 99” Available on TunesDeck

Foxing – “Hell 99”

Recently, Foxing introduced their upcoming self-titled album with the release of the lead single “Greyhound.” Alongside a music video portraying the band members at an empty press conference, Foxing shared another single titled “Hell 99” as part of their album promotion.

The music video for “Hell 99” plays on the Y2K scare theme, showcasing a countdown to the new year. The song features powerful guitars and drums, with guitarist Eric Hudson taking the lead vocals, expressing sentiments of frustration and fatigue. He explains that the track captures the exhaustion and madness induced by repetitive cultural phenomena.

“Hell 99” is about burnout and fatigue. It is meant to capture frustration and mania with repeating cultural trends, the way a cat video and a horrifying news story can be viewed in successive moments, and the mental fatigue and shame that you are left with in taking it all in.

Experience “Hell 99” and watch the Foxing-directed video below.

Foxing is set to release on 9/13 under the band’s label, Grand Paradise.
