Lucius collaborated with Adam Granduciel, known for his work with The War On Drugs, on their latest single “Old Tape.” Granduciel contributes vocals and guitar to the track, which is accompanied by a music video featuring Fred Armisen.
Reflecting on the song, Lucius vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig shared:
Inspired by discussions about mental loops and inner voices, “Old Tape” was born during a creative session at Danny Molad’s studio in LA. We aimed to create a dynamic and uplifting sound, which was further enhanced by Adam’s vocals and guitar skills, adding depth to the track. The production and mix were handled by our bandmate Dan Molad.
