Orville Peck, known for concealing his face in public, recently contributed a song to the soundtrack of the movie “Skincare.” The film, directed by Austin Peters, features Elizabeth Banks as an aesthetician entangled in a suspenseful plot. Peck’s track, titled “Permanently Lonely,” embodies his signature blend of twangy ballad with an ’80s glam touch. The chorus echoes, “So just smile, get super wild/ Baby, ‘Rebel Yell’ is playing in the taxi/ Skin-deep, don’t sleep/ Maybe I’m permanently lonely.” Listen to the song below.
Skincare is now showing in cinemas.
