To prevent any confusion between Cindy, the San Francisco indie rock band, and Cindy Lee, another indie rock project, it is essential to distinguish the two. Cindy recently released the album Why Not Now? and is now introducing a new EP titled Swan Lake.
The EP, Swan Lake, marks Cindy’s first record since band members Oli Lipton and Will Smith joined. Bandleader Karina Gill contributes to their music, conveying the intimate essence of her songs into a captivating full-band sound. The opening track, “All Weekend,” presents a serene, atmospheric, and aesthetically pleasing slowcore tune reminiscent of early Low. Listen to it below.
