Hannah Liuzzo, who gained attention as part of the indie-pop trio Lilith, is now embarking on a new venture with little bit. The debut EP, titled Talk A Blue Streak, is set to be released in September. Ahead of the EP release, Liuzzo has unveiled singles like “Lying To You” and “Lead You On,” with the latest track being “Out To Dry.”
little bit’s sound draws inspiration from artists such as Charli XCX, Avril Lavigne, Elliott Smith, and Sufjan Stevens, blending catchy pop elements with profound lyrics. The song “Out To Dry” encapsulates this mix, featuring jangly melodies and impactful lines like: “But if you feel a hand has forced it, if your spirit is divorced from the divine/ Then your gaze will never matter — it’s perspective, it’s an afterthought repined.” Liuzzo shares her thoughts on the track:
“Out To Dry” embodies the emptiness felt after consciously deciding to let go. Letting go involves allowing oneself to feel the aftermath and redirecting focus to other things. Initially, releasing a fixation may seem wrong, but only upon reflection do we realize its necessity.”
