Mutant Academy’s Debut Album “Keep Holly Alive”
Fly Anakin, a talented rapper and producer, along with Henry L.O., established the Richmond, Virginia rap group Mutant Academy in 2014. Over the years, Mutant Academy has evolved into a collective of various rappers and producers who have worked on multiple mixtapes and projects, including the recent Talk Soon EP. The group is now gearing up for the release of their first official album as a collective.
The forthcoming album, titled Keep Holly Alive, is entirely produced by the members of Mutant Academy. The track “Liberation,” the first single from the album, is produced by the duo Unlucky Bastards and features verses from Fly Anakin, Big Kahuna OG, Henny L.O., and guest artist Quelle Chris, a prominent figure in the underground scene from Brooklyn and Detroit. The chemistry among the group members shines through on the track, complemented by the picturesque scenes of Richmond showcased in the video. The city’s beauty adds to the overall appeal of the music. Check out the single below.
