Halsey recently released a new single called “Lucky” as a preview of her upcoming album. The song samples Britney Spears’ hit “Lucky” from 2000 and Monica’s “Angel Of Mine” from 1997, showing influences from her youth.
The production of “Lucky” involved collaboration with Michael Uzowuru, Rahm Silverglade, and Dylan Wiggins. Halsey has also been incorporating a theme inspired by early 2000s teen stars in the rollout of her album.
Alongside the release of “Lucky,” Halsey has shared a faux Got Milk commercial, a mock Disney introduction, and fake tabloid covers on social media. She even placed HitClips featuring “Lucky” in New York City.
Listeners can enjoy the single “Lucky” and anticipate the release of a Gia Coppola-directed music video to accompany the song soon.
