Stories of Women Fainting at Live Performances by 2Face Shared by Dayo Adeneye

Dayo ‘D1’ Adeneye, a music executive, recently revealed details about 2Face, a renowned musician, on the ‘Deep Dive’ podcast with Teju Babyface. He recounted instances where women would faint during 2Face’s performances due to their overwhelming admiration for him. Adeneye recounted a specific incident in Ivory Coast where four women fainted at one of 2Face’s concerts.

Having worked at Kennis Music, 2Face’s former record label, which had an impressive roster of over 50 artists, Adeneye shared some intriguing stories…

“At the peak of Kennis Music, we had over 50 artists signed to the label. Lagbaja was among our talents. Our artists spanned various genres like gospel, hip-hop, and fuji,” he mentioned.

“I have witnessed several occasions where girls would faint during 2Face’s performances. I recall a tour in Ivory Coast where a girl embraced 2Face on stage and fainted. It was surreal to see four girls faint during that show.

“These were individuals who didn’t understand English but knew every word of 2Face’s songs by heart. In a predominantly French-speaking country, four girls fainted just being in 2Face’s presence, necessitating medical attention,” Adeneye recounted.
