New Track Release: “Brush Pile” by Diary on TunesDeck

Diary – “Brush Pile”

Diary, a five-piece indie rock band from New York, recently signed with Kanine Records. Known for their shoegaze style, they unveiled a new single called “Brush Pile” from their upcoming EP Speedboat, injecting a sense of restlessness into their typically dreamy sound.

Described by the band as a jittery psych-pop track that captures the essence of agoraphobia and FOMO, “Brush Pile” draws inspiration from Sonic Youth, No Wave guitar sounds, and the alt-rock vibes of Siamese Dream and early Sloan records.

In addition to “Brush Pile,” Diary released “Sunday Shadow” and “I Want To Watch The Game” last month. You can listen to these tracks and watch the music video for “Brush Pile” below.

The EP Speedboat is scheduled for release in August on Kanine Records.
