If you’re a music enthusiast, you may know about the various artists with the word “Goon” in their names, but this is about the unique G.O.O.N. from Denver.
G.O.O.N. is a punk band hailing from Denver, formed in 2015 by members with roots in the Midwestern hardcore punk scene. Their debut EP, Natural Evil, was released in 2019. The band has now revealed the upcoming release of their full-length debut album titled God’s Only Option Now, scheduled for next month. The lead single from the album, “Punished,” is a chaotic two-minute track soaked in reverb, giving it a psychedelic vibe.
